Scottish Adoption Vlogs
Hello – I am Margaret Moyes, the Chief Executive of Scottish Adoption and this is our new video blog space! Our Teenage Group mentioned that we needed to start vlogging and those who know me know that I’m not exactly renowned for my IT savvy and I’m still not convinced it’s better to be “KEWL” than “COOL”! I am though convinced about the benefits of using some of the new communication tools available to us. If you’ve been following our recent website, Facebook and twitter development you’ll have seen the way we’ve used these communication methods to open up the work of the Agency; give our service users a platform for sharing their views and experiences and have a conversation about all things relating to adoption. I’ve been quite overwhelmed by the way people have connected with us through this - a big thank you to all of you who have shared your stories, written blogs, commented on our Facebook pages and retweeted our messages. I’m hoping these video blogs will sit alongside this, as a way for us to keep everyone with an interest in our work informed about what’s happening in the agency and to encourage some dialogue and feedback about the issues which matter to you.
Please do feel free to feedback directly on anything using whatever communication method works for you. You can post a comment on our Facebook page if you want to talk publicly, or if you would prefer a private conversation email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or give me a ring on 0131 553 5060.
